Provisional division of areas of uses for marketing tourist accomodation

(Pending approval of the PIAT during the first half year of 2018)

 

FORBIDDEN ON: Building lots and protected rural Areas.

ALLOWED ON:

1.- SATURATED COASTAL AREAS (some areas of Calviá and Llucmajor): Palmanova, Magalluf, Cala Blava, Son Verí Nuevo and El Arenal:

Marketing only up to 60 days both Single Family Units as well as Multi-family units.

2.- NON SATURATED COASTAL AREAS:

Tourist marketing is possible 365 days of the year.

3.- NON SATURATED CITY CENTERS:

Tourist marketing is possible 365 days of the year.

4.- NON SATURATED INTERIOR POPULATION AREAS:

Tourist marketing is possible 365 days of the year.

5.- SATURATED INTERIOR POPULATION AREAS (Santanyí, Valldemossa, Pollença or those below):

The saturated interior population areas are: Alcúdia, Randa (Algaida), Ariany, Banyalbufar, Port des Canonge (Banyalbufar), Orient (Bunyola), Ullaró (Campanet), Deiá, Llucalcari(Deiá), S’Empeltada y Ses Coves (Deiá), S’Esglaieta (Esporles), Es Carritxó (Felanitx), Estellenç, Fornalutx, Marratxinet (Marratxí), Pollença, es Vilà y La Font (Pollença), Santanyí, Llombards(Santanyí), Ruberts (Sencelles), Ses Salines, Sóller, Biniaratx y L’Horta (Sóller), Valldemossa, Es Port, S’Arxiduc and Son Ferrandell  Valldemossa:

Marketing only possible up to 60 days and only if it is the main home of the owner.

6.- COMMON RURAL LAND (except Sierra de la Tramuntana):

If a single family dwelling: tourist marketing is possible 365 days a year.

If it be a flat or apartment in a multi-family building: marketing only possible up to 60 days and only if it is the main home of the owner.

7.- IN THE BOROUGH OF PALMA:

This remains out of the provisional map of division of areas suggested by the CIM as it presents its own areas in districts.
